Campers will learn about plants poisonous to horses, horse diseases, and have a visit with a veterinarian and a farrier. Campers will learn how to longe a horse; identify colors, markings, and breeds of horses; tie knots; and identify and care for equipment.

Besides riding twice a day, campers will learn to vault, build and ride an obstacle course, play various games on horseback, have a workshop on the different styles of riding, and go on trail rides.

Cost for this five-day camp is $250.00 USD. Cost for attending both Camp 1 & 2 is $450.00 USD. Summer camp at Dreamswept Farm is a day camp that runs from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Arrangements can be made for early drop off or late pick up of campers. Campers may bring their own horses or use one of the schooling horses. If a camper brings his own horse, there is no charge for using a stall during the camp provided you bring your own food. If you wish the staff at Dreamswept Farm to feed your horse, the cost will be $50.00 USD per week.
