Buddha is an incredible horse. He does it all, from the hunter-jumper circuit and working a dude string in New Hampshire to Search and Rescue work in Washington state. He loves to jump so much that he takes himself over any obstacles in his pasture for fun!
Buddha is very willing and has a great heart. He's a good nanny to both humans and horses. He often helps train the young stock on the farm by reminding them of their manners as well as grabbing their halters to teach them to lead. Because Buddha likes children so much, he is a wonderful vaulting horse, and his gentle understanding makes him a favorite at Camp Easter Seals West.

Recently Buddha was chosen to represent the Search and Rescue horses in a deck of trading cards. Buddha was a rescue horse himself and now spends time helping rescue others.
Even though Buddha was 28 in the year 2,000, he is still going strong and outlasts most horses on the trail.
Buddha is a ham and loves to put on an act. We think he is actively seeking an Oscar for Best Actor.
