Scott Aton

Hi Ho! The friendly webmaster...

Scott was one of the original two founding partners of PSI back in 1981.  He retired from active practice in 1993 but still supervises several therapists as well as doing administrative work for PSI among other things.  This website and the Infoline are examples of his contributions.  The commander-in-chief at PSI is Kathy Cregan since his “retirement”.

His original intent was to write and play in his garden, but he still occasionally messes with the idea of working in some new and different career field (he worked in hospitals, Social Work and psychotherapy since 1969).  But so far he’s managed to resist!  ;-)

This seemed like a good “retirement” picture!
The main thing that he will be doing is maintaining and updating the website.  He wants to put in some ongoing features like a monthly soapbox essay or a Q & A page regarding peoples' interests/ questions about psychotherapy or things psychological.  Not the “Dr. Laura” kind of malarkey though!  If you have ideas or  suggestions then please e-mail him or use the Comments page.  Either way your comments will be appreciated! This was what I looked like in 1985
Here’s the fine young fellow who co-founded PSI.  Looks haven’t changed much, don’t you think?  ;-)
