Maybe I can have a life, the story of Tria

Hi, my name is Tria. I don't want to offend you, but you need to know
the life I lead before I got to where I am now.

I was a feral in some kind person's neighborhood. Here's my story:
This delicate tortie point, with glowing blue eyes, also has only part of one leg. Yes, those are her bones sticking out through a nasty ball of irritated flesh. She was observed at one point with what looked like a broken leg, and then she disappeared. The next time they saw her, she looked like this. Was it a dog that bit her? an illegal trap? the results of an unfortunate collision with a car?
Tria can't tell us. But she's taught us a lot, about spirit, determination, and the will to live. Our veterinarian immediately amputated the diseased portion of her leg. Her recovery was slow. Her main short term goal is eating. She's making up for lost time.

As you can see, Her stump has healed very nicely. She's got to learn to walk again, not an easy chore. But we're confident, that this kitty can do it, if anyone can. She also had to learn to trust humans.

Here's our latest photos of Tria. Tria has done the improbable. She went from being a cat most shelters would have put to sleep to a happy confident loving household pet. Believe it. Life is good sometimes. We can't do it without your help, donations are part of what saved Tria.

And a big thanks to her new mom who shared these photos with us!
