 As an important component of its House of Mercy project, the American Moslem Foundation has developed plans and secured building permits for a "Specialized Instruction School"
which will serve a critical role in advancing religious education as well as the preservation of national and ethnic heritage
of Muslim immigrants. The school will offer introductory and "refresher" religious courses, language classes (Persian, Urdu, etc.), lecture series, and provide a meeting place for Muslims here in the Northwest. Classes, sponsored events, and social activities at the school are expected to foster a greater understanding of Muslims and Islamic religion for Americans. It is also expected to encourage the children of American Muslim families to become more familiar with their own cultural and religious heritage. We are certain that this facility will engender a keener sense of community and participatory spirit among Muslims in the Northwest. 
Obviously, the cost of developing and maintaining such a facility is not small. The Specialized Instruction School can only become a reality through the assistance of the extended American Muslim family and generous donors. Please include the Specialized Instruction School in your will and/or make endowment (Waghf) in your name or the name of your beloved ones to this institution.

As a recognized
center of Islamic learning, we are hopeful that the Specialized
Instruction School with its dormitory (artist's rendering
at left) can interact with colleges and universities 
in
support of the development of educational and research programs on Islam
and the Muslim communities of America. We expect that this school and
center will serve as a place for people of monotheistic religions to
communicate with each other in search of truth and learn to work together
for the good of all.
