| Please
forward any comments or corrections, and most importantly any
score updates. The ICQ message window on the above link gets them to me
the fastest. The more people that help out, the better this page is. BTW, this page changes A LOT on game nights. So it would be wise to reload often to catch the updates. And thanks to all of you feeding me the information. But where's Alton this year? You still out there? |

| SOUTHERN CONFERENCE WILD-CARD ROUND | ||||||
| You may
notice the second change of the team logo at the top of the page. I
still follow the Wheeling
Nailers and Peoria Rivermen,
but lets face it: the season is over for them. So I want to support
JF Boutin and
his team during the playoffs as much as I can, and his next stop is the
IHL playoffs. What kind of adopted brother would I be if I didn't
support him? Naturally I think you should all go and visit
The JF Boutin Pages.
If nothing else just for all of the work that went into it. Please send
me your opinions and comments. Been listening to a lot of Peoria's radio/RealAudio announcer Norm Ulrich. I would rate Norm as one of the ECHL's top 5 announcers. I get to listen to him a lot trying to keep up with JF Boutin's career, and since Wheeling did not get RealAudio this year. Also, I would like to send a special thanks to Shaun and Kim Bill from Peoria for helping keep us filled in on what's been going on there. |

| I'd like to
thank the webmaster of InTheCrease
for the sports ticker code above. I would also like for everyone to drop by the site for our adopted player for this season Rob Giffin with the Wheeling Nailers. Oddly enough, Wheeling got him in the trade with the Peoria Rivermen for JF Boutin and he also wears #7 on his jersey. I am still working on a web page for him, but you may visit what has been completed. This is Rob's second year as a center in the ECHL. He shows a lot of hustle while on the ice and is very impressive at winning faceoffs. We think he will go far in hockey, not just the ECHL. While I was still there he was named the Wheeling NailersPlayer of the Month for December. Way to go Rob. |
