
Mark Howells is a Certified Information Systems Auditor and a
Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
He volunteers on the Internet as the host of the Norfolk-L genealogy mailing list. He also assists his wife Cyndi in maintaining her comprehensive Cyndi's List of Genealogy Sites on the Internet.
His writings on genealogical research have appeared in the National Genealogical Society's Computer Interest Group Digest, the New England Historic Genealogical Society's The Computer Genealogist, Heritage Quest Magazine, Family Tree Magazine, Family Chronicle, Genealogical Computing and Computers In Genealogy.
Mark was formerly the Technology Columnist for Ancestry magazine.
Mark's research interests are primarily in Wales, England, and Scotland. His surnames of interest may be found at Mark's Surnames.
Mark holds life-time memberships in the the National Genealogical Society and the Norfolk Family History Society. He also is a member of the Glamorgan Family History Society.
