and
August 1987 - ACME Theatricks Production, Lincoln Arts Center
An original rock musical with an anti-war theme. Factory
worker and all-around nice guy Joe and his wife eat bologna sandwiches
in front of the T.V., deciding what products and philosophies to buy, while
their son fights for God and country. Joe Jr. survives a mortar attack
only to be killed by a gang of enemy soldiers who take no prisoners.
GARDEN PARTY by Nora Douglass
June 1987 - ACME Theatricks Production, Seattle Mime Theatre
Annie Venner lives in hole in the backyard of her seemingly
perfect suburban home. Her husband Paul is terrified that he has been saved
by a television evangelist. GARDEN PARTY is a roller coaster ride through
the spiritually bankrupt 1980s. Translated into French as PARTY DU JARDIN
by Laurent Lacoquelle, 1995.
SUNDAY FUNNIES

Two one-act plays by Deborah Blumel and Joe Johnson and
a silent film, TERROR IN THE TIE FACTORY by Madge Montgomery and Nora Douglass,

like in the old days.
YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU by Moss Hart and George Kaufman
Summer 1986 - Snoqualmie Falls Forest Theater, Snoqualmie, WA
The ever-popular American family comedy, performed in
