The circular Mongolian tent. It is almost always white. It consists of a wooden framework with the walls made from sections of lattice-work and the roof from long poles radiating spoke-like from a central wooden ring. Large sections of thick felt are strapped around the entire frame, and then a clean, white canvas is strapped over that. The central wooden ring is left open as a smoke hole, but has a flap that can cover it during inclement weather.
