If you contact us by e-mail, please remember to include wording in the Re: field of your e-mail (such as Re: Anchor floss). We receive a large number of spam e-mails each day and do use a spam filter to try to sort them from legitimate e-mail. Although we check the spam mail to make sure a legitimate message has not been diverted by mistake, occasionally one will slip through. It is always a good idea when e-mailing anyone, especially if they don't know you, to include a reference subject on the reference line.

SHIPMENTS are made by both UPS and mail. We try to ship the most economical way that is also safe (i.e. insured if the dollar amount is high enough) but will take your preferred shipping method into consideration. As a general rule, all foreign orders are sent by mail, either air mail or surface mail, whichever you prefer. We pride ourselves on shipping orders promptly, but please keep in mind that this will depend on when during the day we receive your order. Both our outgoing mail and UPS pickups generally occur around noon so we are not able to ship orders late in the day. Also, shipments by mail that are required to be taken in person to the post office (insured mail, foreign mail, etc.) cannot be shipped until the following day at the earliest.
By the way, all your orders are reviewed by a real human being (me!) who will make a judgment at the time the order is processed as to whether we can charge you a lower shipping rate than the "standard" rates we post. The standard rates are posted to give people (at least those in the 48 lower U.S. states) an idea of the shipping you will be charged. Once we determine the actual shipping cost (which may include the cost of packing supplies and envelopes, insurance where necessary, as well as shipping itself), if the cost is less than our published rates (due to weight, method of shipment, geographical proximity), we always charge you the lower rate.
PRIVACY STATEMENT: We request a way to contact you (either by phone or e-mail or both) when you place an order, in case we have a question about the order, discover a mistake in the credit card information, or need to get in touch with you for any reason. We do not rent or loan our customers' names, addresses, phone numbers, or e-mail addresses; this information is used only in-house.
All prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice
