Fall Is Sneaking Up
I can tell fall is coming. Granted the sun is still shining and it is warm out but the obvious signs of fall are showing. I watched TV the other night and I forgot how much I really do like TV. I have managed to go most of the summer with out watching a lot of TV.
Another sign that fall is around the corner is that I am getting excited about basketball and pre-season, and trades haven't even begun. Heck the first of the football season hasn't even started.
Sitting in my car driving around enjoying the warmth and the sun I noticed that the leaves from the trees around the lake are starting to change colors and fall. I find myself cleaning out my closet and getting my fall and winter clothes out and getting excited to wear some of my sweaters.
When I went to Mexico I brought back some vanilla and that started all of this. I had to go through and inventory all of the fall and winter baking supplies. That then got me to thinking about getting started on gathering together all of the necessary *power out* supplies.
It is amazing what power marketing has on us the pubic. You go to the grocery store or department store and they have had all of the Halloween stuff out for weeks. Before school even started again. I have actually seen Thanksgiving and Christmas stuff out on the market already. It just is too weird for me. Really throws my internal season clock off. Mmmmm... Turkey, gravy and candied yams sound so good now.
