Summary of Mucho Mucho Fun!
Well I was having way to much fun to write in my journal on the trip so here is a quick synopsis of the trip.... FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN!!!!!
I will try and recap on the correct days but we will see if I get it right. :) Needless to say some of these things just aren't going to make sense to most people but here it goes.
Road trip! Got up at the butt-crack of dawn downed some coffee and we grabbed the rest to go! It is a long drive but T. is awesome company. We talked all the almost 400 miles down there. A few potty break and food or drink stops and one to cool the truck and we finally arrived in San Pedro! Yah we were stoked as we saw the boat. Giggling like school girls and high fivin' the whole time as we parked. We took a fifth of Sky Vodka with us and made sure at the last stop we had mixin's. What was that you say? COCKTAIL TIME! Next pictures of the boat and such then time to jump aboard.
The room was cool. We had 2 portholes to look out. So after downing our celebratory cocktail we figured it is a cruise ship and what do you do a lot of on a cruise? EAT!
Next we ran around the boat maniacally getting our bearings and finding everything. This gets you parched so you know the drill... Cocktails again! We headed for the bar and made friends with bartenders since we were in such entertaining rare form and all. Our new nicknames for the cruise were honey 1 and honey 2. That is the cool thing about cruises is that the staff really makes an effort to remember your name and details to make you feel comfortable. While there we ran into a group of gals that was having a bachelorette party on board. They were definitely into having a good time!
One of the only really negative things about the cruise was the emergency drill they have before setting sail. Way to many people, too much out of control and the heat didn't help either. The funny thing is that we ran into our bacheelorette party gals there. After that it was time to run around maniacally again, one more cocktail and then go unpack and get ready for dinner.
Yes I am extremely food motivated and that is a great thing about the cruise is food, food and more food! Dinner was great. It was fun sitting at the table and meeting our table mates and getting to know them as well. Anyone that serves me food is my friend and when they are funny to boot I am always going to be there for all meals! Our waiters were Poitr and Erhan and they were just great! We were so stuffed after dinner we had to waddle around to move!
Checked out the dance floor for a bit and then stopped at the piano bar to see our favorite bartenders, Johnathan and Solan. After that we looked at the time only to realize that it was midnight and we were going to be up early tomorrow for breakfast then a full day of shopping so off to bed!
Till next time.Interested in more of my rants? BACK
