The Deep Stuff - Xmas Stress
Well I finally started getting the Xmas decorations up and at least unburried the fake tree. I have some presents wrapped and most gotten but I just can't seem to get motivatited into overdrive the way I usually do. It just doesn't feel like it is time yet. I swear this year just flew by. I blinked and poof another year gone.
This years theme will be cheesey americanna. Gittery, tacky, and over the top is the way to go. I figure that is the best way to bring in the new milenium.
I swear I normally am much more on the ball about the whole holiday thing. At one point this year I was going to completely bag the whole thing and do only the presents. I feel like I am running behind a huge boulder. I know I wont get anything done on Monday and I just can't seem to get myself into overdrive to make up for each time I fall behind.
Oh well. It all has to come to a head sooner or later. At least having lunch with my neighbor was a good distraction. Must focus on getting stuff done.
Must not think about the big smile on my face either. Thoughts of him keep popping up all the time. Very nice to have that distraction I must say!
