The Deep Stuff - More Holiday Stuff, Work and Lunch
Had some things I had to take care of getting ready for the holiday season last night. It is amazing to have people adopt you into their lives and call you family. I remember from this person what the true spirit of the season is. I had fun last night talking to him and seeing the excitement about Xmas and the preparation for giving. Our society is pretty messed up at times but for the whole it is genuinely interested in make life better as a whole.
Well after that I sat on the phone for pretty much the rest of the night. I enjoyed that conversation and the realization that came with it on how little it takes for one person to make another feel comfortable in expressing ones self.
Work the last couple of days have been hurry up and wait. It is an emergency but you have to wait till I get you the information you need. This part of my job does make me a little crazy but in a very twisted way increases the satisfaction level once the project is completed. It seems to be an every increase way of business. Overnight packages now don't come fast enough and email is starting to seem to slow. It is a very interesting way of life we are getting into now a days and I wonder more and more how fast and far we can push ourselves before we reach the brink.
The rest of the day was very good. I do mean very. I normally bitch about my lunch but today I had the best lunch I have had in years. A fun little lunch with an excellent menu item that was so good that it left me hungry for more. Lunch is one of the most important meals of the day you know. It definitely gave me the energy to finish the rest of the day and calm the cravings I had in the morning.
