What is a home inspection?
A home inspection is a visual inspection of a residential building, up to a four unit
complax. Those areas of a house that are safely and readily accessible are observed.
Systems are checked for opereation using normal operating controls. A
narrative report is prepared that describes the systems and components that were
inspected, and states any of those systems or components so inspected which were found to
be in need of immediate major repair. Included are:

| Exterior - Siding, flashing, trim, windows, doors |
| Roofing - Coverings, gutters, flashing, skylights, chimneys |
