Magic 8- BallŪ & Life Decisions

So I got a new toy that really has changed my life and this journal. My new Magic 8-BallŪ key chain came in the mail today. It will now make all of my important decisions for me. Well at least be my consultant. I figure I have nothing really to loose. I haven't got the best lifetime track record for making decisions on my own so what the heck, I might as well get a second opinion. It truly couldn't hurt and might make things easier.

This silly thing has been around for ages (it just had it's 50th anniversary) and I have had several of them. I have never really tapped in to this cultural icon of fortune telling which is truly the mood ring of my generation. They have now come out with the Date Ball which answers all kinds of questions about dating. I wonder what the next generation of them will be?

Being a 30 something, you really have to wonder what great minds and successful individuals actually used this to decide the ebb and flow of current events and trends of the business world as well as cultural disasters. Point in question. Did Seth Warshavsky consult his Magic 8-BallŪ before deciding to start Internet Entertainment Group (IEG)? Did Jeff Bezos get an 'Absolutely' triangle of encouragement when he decided to start Amazon? Did Ronald snap at Nancy to grab the 8-Ball for every foreign affair decision he made? What if leg warmers in the 80's was all based on a resounding 'Yes' from our friend the 8-Ball oracle? You never know... Any of these *could* have happened.

I therefore will ask my Magic 8-BallŪ one important question daily and track it's results. I promise to do this honestly and I will post the graphic of the answer up on each entry.
